The MPower Galvo Motor Strategy
General Scanning invented the optical scanner, an enabling technology that has become essential to industries as diverse as medical equipment and semi-conductor manufacturing. Now, we are setting a new performance benchmark with an innovative design concept called the MPower Galvo Motor strategy. It works like this: Rather than optimizing individual scanner motor elements, we optimize the mirror, the mount, and the galvo as an integrated working unit. This insures that all the inertial elements of the MPower Galvo Motor are performance-matched to give you the ultimate in speed and accuracy. The MPower Galvo Motor strategy is based on our fourth generation motors. Also available is our improved line of third generation VMplus Galvo Motors.
